"Thanks to your page I recently had the opportunity to eat at Oswald and found the fare excellent not only for myself a life long meat eater but my companion a steadfast vegetarian. The service was prompt and knowledgeable not only about the menu but the wine list as well. The wine list dose a wonderful job of representing the local wineries with the finest they have to offer. I know this because I had the chance to visit many of them on my visit to northern California. I had the opportunity to have an all be it brief discussion with the chef and couldn't find your description of "The cook calls his cuisine "Garden French." - more off base. Charlie is creating a unique cuisine developed from his own tastes and experiences. I appreciate your guide and will you use it any time I visit the Monterey Bay area.
