| United States Restaurant Guide a guide to every restaurant in the USA | www.usrg.com |
The USRG is freely available to anyone to consult for dining information subject to the terms of the copyright agreement.
Everyone starts in the USRG as a visitor. Some participate to become trusted members, others subscribe to get advanced services and extra information. The USRG is a dynamic guide that responds based on your participation level. Members who rate and review see more and are also given increased options to explore cuisine, restaurants, cities, and streets. Advanced participants use a precision rating system which is rounded down for the popular audience. A participant with increased credibility has reviews and ratings that count more.
Participation is not mandatory and you can just browse the USRG to get useful restaurant information and compare ratings. But participation means you have something to say about restaurants through rating or reviewing places. You can graduate your trust level membership through participation or buying a subscription. Note that participants receive an enhanced browser view of the guide.
There are three levels of participation. USRG sells subscription memberships at the Diners and Travelers level which provides better service and helps USRG offset research and development expenses. We also move member requests for service improvements to the top of the list.
Each restaurant has its own page. Click on "I am a recent Diner and I want to review it." and enter your review and rating. You click on "remember this place" from a restaurant page and the restaurant will be kept for members and subscribers.
Restaurants can update their restaurant information directly over the Internet at any time. Click here to find out how a restuarant can add itself or make changes.
Awards and trust
Participation is rewarded by the USRG. You become a "USRG Trusted" source when 4 of your reviews are verified as original and accurate. You become a "USRG Producer" if you contribute at least 6 reviews a season verified by the USRG staff. Advanced participants get a customized web page to view their own best lists.
