Your Identity is Yours

The United States Restaurant Guide is an interactive service for diners. To have a dialog, to keep notes about restaurants, and to share your views then some information must be volunteered by diners to stor in the USRG. It is the only way to make interactive services useful. USRG will store your interactions and your preference choices so you can return to these contexts later. Such information will be for your use only. The aggregate of general user information and trend may be used. For example, the total count of people interested in a city cuisine. Your individual and personal information will never be revealed without your explicit assertion. It is the policy of the USRG to keep and guard all personal information. The USRG does not share this information outside the USRG network.

Your Name - USRG assumes your name and email address is private and secures it, unless you want it known. In restaurant reviews for example you may use a "public name" to cover your true name and email address. The USRG collection of subscribers will not be circulated without your explicit agreement.

Your Cookies - USRG uses Internet browser cookies to remember current settings. Cookies are files that your web browser places on your computer's hard drive or in your browser memory for the purpose of quick restart of the service. The cookies we use do not store any personally identifying information about you and are designed only to assist in facilitate individual USRG sessions. They are not designed to permanently store information on your computer. USRG does not use cookies to retrieve personal information about you from your computer.

Your Security - USRG makes its best effort to protect the security of your information at all times. Your account information is accessible to you and may be modified by you through the use of your user name and password. You are responsible for safeguarding your user name and password and preventing their disclosure or release to any one. If your user name or password is stolen or otherwise compromised, you should immediately report this to USRG Customer Service at jbeaulieu@usrg.com. Please note that apart from the service login we will never ask you for your password or other information necessary to access your account. If this information is requested via any other means, please notify us immediately at jbeaulieu@usrg.com.
