opular and busy fancy French restaurant in a modern setting. Plates arrive as large rectangular artistic statements framed in their heavy white ceramic. The chef from the European Cafe continues to produce imaginative brilliant dishes. Tasting menu goes on and on ($59). Dishes include Veal with mornay sauce($20), yellow fin tuna with Thai vinaigrette, pickled ginger, sweet rice truffle, Thai shrimp in yellow curry with coconut milk and lime leaf on jasmine rice, penne pasta with lemon beurre blanc, pine nuts, tomatoes and fresh spinach, beef Eduardo, filet in crème fraîche, pepper and tequila demi glace. 2006 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
