Amare
Plural of Amaro. Herby liqueur best taken after dinner. As a digestif it has a medicinal property of diffusing complex stomach digestion. Italy is known for its many regions of distinctive Amare. Originally Amare were served to help cure indiegstion from bad drinking water. Amaro Cio Ciaro is good example of an Amaro - fragrant and reminiscent of something between Chartreuse and Jaegermeister.
